Privacy Policy

Effective July 16, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how BookMethods collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit bookmethods.com, complete an intake, purchase or participate in a mentorship, connect Discord, use BookBot, or otherwise interact with BookMethods. It does not govern the independent practices of sportsbooks or other third-party services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with BookMethods, we may collect:

  • Contact and identity information: such as your name, email address, Discord username, and other details you provide.
  • Intake and mentorship information: your experience level, goals, availability, sportsbook usage, responses, records, examples, and communications.
  • Transaction information: purchase status, amount, customer email, Stripe identifiers, and related records. Stripe processes payment-card details; BookMethods does not receive or store your full card number.
  • Discord information: when Discord connection is enabled, account identifiers, username, and OAuth authorization data needed to connect your account and grant community roles.
  • BookBot interactions: questions sent to the bot, related Discord identifiers, generated responses, confidence information, and message data needed to provide and troubleshoot the assistant.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, timestamps, and security or server logs collected automatically by our hosting and embedded-service providers.

Do not send sportsbook passwords, payment-card numbers, government identifiers, or other information that is not necessary for mentorship.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • review intake responses and determine whether the service is a fit;
  • process enrollment, payment confirmation, onboarding, and support;

  • operate BookBot, retrieve relevant reference material, generate responses, and flag uncertain answers for coach review;
  • provision included BreadSync access where offered;
  • maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and services;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.

4. How we share information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Typeform, which hosts the intake form;
  • Stripe, which processes checkout and payments;
  • Discord, which hosts the community and account connection flow;
  • Anthropic, which generates BookBot responses;

  • BreadSync, when information is needed to provision the included access benefit;
  • professional advisors, contractors, or service providers acting on our instructions;
  • government authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • a buyer, successor, or advisor in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

BookMethods does not sell personal information.

5. Third-party privacy practices

Providers process information under their own policies. You can review the privacy information published by Typeform, Stripe, Discord, Anthropic, OpenAI, Supabase, Vercel, and BreadSync.

6. Cookies and similar technology

The BookMethods landing page does not currently use its own advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. Typeform, Stripe, Discord, Vercel, and other embedded or linked providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for security, functionality, fraud prevention, preferences, and their own permitted purposes. Browser settings may allow you to restrict cookies, but doing so can affect intake, checkout, or account connection.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason it was collected. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed. BookBot questions may appear in operational logs retained for troubleshooting, security, and service quality.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission, third-party platform, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your own accounts, devices, and credentials.

9. International processing

BookMethods and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, providers may rely on contractual or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also appeal a denied request where applicable.

To make a request, contact BookMethods through the Discord link below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. These rights may be limited by legal exceptions and recordkeeping obligations.

The site may link to third-party websites, communities, and services. Their privacy practices are controlled by their operators, not BookMethods. Review their policies before providing personal information.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
